Restaurant website design in Houston, TX
Most restaurant sites are flat. We build with light.
$497 for a three-page restaurant site. $10 a month to keep it online. Monthly plans from $247 if you want us to keep working on it after launch.
Here is one we built, live right now, that you can open on your phone before you read another word: Tacos Tierra Caliente — a taco truck that has been in Montrose since 2004.
That was paid work for a real client, not a demo. Open it, then come back and we will tell you what goes into a restaurant site that actually earns its keep.
The build
Tacos Tierra Caliente, Montrose
They have been serving Montrose since 2004 and they had the thing most good Houston restaurants have: a loyal crowd, a reputation on the street, and nowhere online that told a stranger what they sell or when they are open.
What it does:
- The menu is on the page, in text, not a photograph of a printed menu and not a PDF. A phone can read it in a second and so can Google.
- Hours and location are marked up so Google can pull them straight into search results.
- It loads fast on a phone on a Houston sidewalk, which is where nearly every restaurant site is actually opened.
- Tap the phone number and it calls. Tap the address and it opens directions.
This is a client build — paid work, handed over in August 2026. They own the site, the domain and the content outright.
What a restaurant site has to get right
The menu is the website
Somebody standing outside deciding where to eat has one question and about eight seconds. If your menu is a photograph, a PDF, or a Facebook post from March, you have lost them to the place next door with a menu on a page.
Real text menu. On the site. Readable on a phone without pinching. That is most of the job.
Your hours have to be true in three places
Your website, your Google Business Profile, and whatever delivery apps you are on. When those disagree, Google trusts none of them and customers turn up to a locked door — which is how you get a one-star review about something that was never about the food.
We set the hours up so Google can read them off the site directly, and if you are on a monthly plan we keep the Google Business Profile matching.
Photographs of your actual food
Not stock photography. Not a rendering. The food you actually serve, shot in the light you actually have. People can tell the difference instantly and the stock photo costs you the trust the real one would have earned.
If you do not have photos, that is a conversation to have before the build, not after.
It has to work on a phone, standing up, on a slow connection
Almost nobody looks up a restaurant on a laptop. They are outside, one-handed, on whatever signal they have. A site that takes six seconds is a site nobody sees.
We measure this on every build rather than assuming it — the page gets loaded on a throttled phone connection and graded, and if it is slow it does not ship.
What it costs
The prices, published
$497 one time for a three-page site, then $10 a month to host it, including three changes a year. Extra pages are $147.
For a restaurant with a stable menu that mostly needs to exist properly online, that is usually the whole answer.
Monthly plans start at $247 and include the site with no build fee. That is for when you want to be found by people who do not know your name yet — the "tacos near me" and "best breakfast tacos Montrose" searches — which needs pages built month after month, your Google Business Profile kept current, and reviews coming in steadily.

Working with us
What we need from you
Your menu, your hours, and photographs of your food. If you have a logo, that. If you do not, we will work it out.
That is genuinely it. We do not run a six-week discovery process and bill you for it.
The build takes one to three business days from the day that arrives. Most owners send it in one email between services.
What we do not do
We do not build online ordering systems, table-reservation software, or delivery integrations from scratch. If you already use Toast, Square, Resy or the like, we link to it and make sure it works — we do not rebuild it.
If ordering is the core of what you need, say so on the first call and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right shop.
Ask what yours would look like
Tell us the restaurant, where in Houston it is, and what is broken about how people find you now.

Questions
How much does a restaurant website cost in Houston?
$497 one time for a three-page site plus $10 a month for hosting, which includes three changes a year. Monthly plans that include the site and ongoing search work start at $247 a month with no build fee.
How long does it take to build a restaurant website?
One to three business days, once we have your content. That is the finished site, live — not a first draft and not a staging link you wait a fortnight to see. What we need on day one is your menu, your hours, your phone number, the areas you serve and any photographs of the food you already have. The day that arrives is day one.
Can I see a restaurant site you actually built?
Yes — Tacos Tierra Caliente, a taco truck in Montrose. It is live and it was paid client work.
Can you put my menu online?
Yes, as real text on the page rather than a PDF or a photograph, so it loads instantly on a phone and Google can read it.
Will you handle online ordering or reservations?
We link to whatever you already use — Toast, Square, Resy and similar — and make sure it works on your site. We do not build ordering or reservation systems from scratch.
How do I get my restaurant to show up on Google Maps?
That is your Google Business Profile, and it is separate from your website — though the two need to agree on your name, address and hours or Google trusts neither. Setting it up and keeping it current is included in the monthly plans.
Do I own the website?
Yes — the website and its code, the domain and the content, from day one and on every plan. If you stop paying, your site does not go dark: you keep it and we hand you the code without you having to ask, so any developer can carry on with it.
What happens when my menu or my hours change?
You text us what it should say. You do not have to explain where it goes. Most changes are done the same day. For the first two weeks after you buy, changes are unlimited and free; after that the $10 a month includes three a year and extra ones are $50, quoted before we touch anything. Anything actually broken is ours to fix at no cost and never counts against your three.
