Signal Growth
Privacy, in plain language.
This site is built to collect as little as possible. No advertising trackers, no social-media pixels, and no cookies unless you agree to them.
Analytics — only if you say yes
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Until you accept it, it is switched off: it cannot store anything on your device, cannot identify you, and cannot recognise you on a later visit. If you decline, it stays that way and no cookie is ever set. We have not turned on Google's advertising features, and your IP address is anonymised. The two cookies it sets if you accept, and how to change your mind, are listed on the cookies page.
What we receive
If you use the contact form (or the email / phone links), we receive exactly what you send — your name, your email address, your phone number, and your message — and we use it only to reply to you about your project. We don't sell it, share it, or add you to a mailing list.
Paying
If you buy a plan, the Pay now buttons hand you to Stripe, which takes the payment. Your card number is typed on Stripe's own page, not this one — it never touches this site and we never see it or store it. What we get back from Stripe is what we need to know who paid and for what: your name, your email address, the amount, and the last four digits. Stripe handles the rest under its own privacy policy. You can also just use the Ask first button and never go near a payment page.
Text messages
We will never sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes — not ever, and not with anyone. If you ask us to text you, that number is used to reply to you about your project and nothing else.
What we send, and how you ask for it. There is one way to start getting texts from us: you fill in the form on our text sign-up page and tick the consent box yourself. It is never ticked for you, we never add a number on somebody's behalf, and we never buy, rent or import lists. Once you've opted in we send two kinds of message — transactional ones (a reply to your enquiry, confirmation and reminders for a consultation you booked, updates on work in progress) and promotional ones (occasional messages about the web design, hosting, local-search and front-desk services you enquired about). Message frequency varies — we're a small business replying to people, not a broadcast list — and message and data rates may apply.
What we keep as proof, and how you stop it. When you tick the box we store the exact sentence you agreed to, word for word, together with the date and time and the page you were on. We keep that because consent is something we should be able to show, not just claim. The box is optional: if you leave it unticked your enquiry still reaches us, your number is marked do-not-text, and we reply by email instead. To stop messages at any point, reply STOP to any text — or text HELP, email us, or just say so in a reply. Stopping is immediate and permanent, costs you nothing, and changes nothing about your price, your project or how fast we answer. Your number and that consent record are never sold, rented or shared with anyone, and the full terms of the programme are on the terms page.
If you start a conversation in the chat bubble, it is handled by our customer-messaging provider, LeadConnector, so that we can read and reply to it. The bubble loads only after you have answered the cookie banner and clicked it — nothing is contacted or stored before that. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and request time) to run and secure the service. See Vercel's privacy policy for how they handle that.
Keeping it safe
Everything you send us travels over an encrypted connection. The whole site is HTTPS-only — plain http is redirected, and browsers are told for two years not to try it — and the pages are locked down against the usual tricks: they can't be framed by another site, scripts can only load from places we've named, and forms can only submit back to us.
Once it reaches us, what you sent lives in two places and no others: the mailbox it's delivered to, and the customer records we use to reply to you. It isn't copied anywhere else, it isn't sold or shared, and the number of people who can see it is one — this is a small business, not a data operation. Your card details are never among it; those go to Stripe and never reach us at all. We keep what you sent for as long as we're talking and while you're a client, and if you ask us to delete it we delete it. No system is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something — but nothing is kept that doesn't need to be, which is the only protection that never fails.
